  Skin in the Game gives a great, new, creative perspective about the dating world. Neely opens readers minds to think about dating in a new way, in way they can take control of. Neely doesn't just give a set of rules, she gives you the mind frame, foundation and lets you create your own destiny. It is all about what you put in and this books shows you how to put it your best self forward.
  Ms. Steinberg seems to have really hit the nail on the head with blend of social savvy and human understanding, she has given her readers some truly practical methods for navigating the modern world of dating and finding true love. In the process, the reader finds out about themselves and what should be appealing to a true mate in the future. An easy read with some valuable life lessons.
  Neely's experience in the world of entrepreneurs combine with her experience as a single woman to offer singles a smart and savvy approach to finding love. In addition to the skills she suggests, Neely shares thoughtful and sensitive stories from cients which will motivate and inspire men and women as they search for love. Well written, clear and hopeful - a must read for singles and professionals in our industry!
  Skin In the Game is a one of a kind dating book. It makes you feel empowered with real, practical help and relieved that you don't have to follow a set of foolish dating rules. When I was reading the book, you can tell the author truly understands what it's like to be out there in the dating word and she gives advice that will make a difference with new ideas I hadn't thought of trying before. I especially liked that she practiced what she preached to ultimately find the love of her life, her husband, Dave. I just wish Skin In the Game had been published earlier. It would have saved me years of going through the dating world aimlessly.
  The truth is, I bought this for my friend (I'm married) but couldn't help reading it when it got delivered. It's a fun way to approach one's search for love and has a lot of concrete things daters can do to move their dating lives forward. The writing is smart and it's very readable. I enjoyed the comparisons to entrepreneurs/entrepreneurship--helps make the dating concepts stick. If you're sick of the dating books that talk about ways to manipulate men or focus on black-and-white, antiquated dating rules but do little to help you in your own self-growth...if you want practical solutions and smart guidance, I'd definitely reccomend picking up a copy.
  After browsing through the dating books at the book store, this book is the most comprehensive of all. Neely has brought up lots of ideas on how to use dating like a business. When something doesn't work, try something new or different. It helps you look at your past, present, and future and how you want your life to be. It's more than just rules. Rules are good but not so important. It's the action, experimentation, and reflection that gets you through it. Neely has it all right in her book. I would highly recommend it but it's not for someone who's looking for a quick read and get started in the dating game. It takes time and practice as well as *gulped* patience. It's an easy to read book. Good luck!!!
  Truth I don't normally gravitate toward self-help or how-to books. But Steinberg's fresh and thoughtful take on dating drew me in. Steinberg speaks to smart women who aren't interested in playing games to catch a man. She offers quick, practical exercises to help women identify strengths, limiting beliefs, partnership priorities and more, and walks us through small-step-by-small-step to get us from thinking about improving our dating lives to taking actions to improve our dating lives. The personal and professional anecdotes she includes pushed me to take an honest look at whether I've been "dating smart" and what I could do to be more strategic and clear-eyed about my dating life. Definitely a recommendation for my single friends--and there's valuable thought exercises in here for my partnered friends, too.
